RAILING & MOULDING
Nearly Infinite Possibilitiesâ„¢ to…
STAIR HANDRAIL — also known as stair rail — is connected to newel posts, and either travel between the tops of block top newels in Post-to-Post rail systems, or over the top of pin top newels in Over-the-Post rail systems.
Stair railing and moulding from Evermark comes in a wide variety of profiles, sizes, and types of construction. The type of rail construction determines the price range for the rail. Most building codes have limits on how wide stair handrails can be. However, those limits can vary by jurisdiction.

Made from blocks of wood of various lengths, jointed together with “fingers” on each end, then assembled into handrail. Finger-jointed rails are the most economical choice for handrails.

Made of longer blocks of wood that are “butt jointed” or edge-glued together. These rails have 3 layers of wood called plies. They are glued together form a block, and that block is then shaped into handrail on a moulder.

From rustic farmhouse to more formal Colonial mantel styles, no matter which one you choose, you’ll add timeless and classic beauty to your fireplace—and your home.
But our mantels are not just for fireplaces. They can also be used as decorative shelving in any room, over televisions or monitors, or anywhere you need extra space to organize your practical or decorative accessories. All Evermark mantels come in 5ft and 6ft widths, and can be mounted to any surface.
Evermark Mantels have solid wood facings with plywood tops and bottoms that give the mantels strength and stability.
Each mantel kit comes with a mounting ledger board that is attached to the surface of choice by the hoe owner. All fasteners, screws, and hardware needed to attach the ledger board must be supplied by the end user.
Evermark Expressionsâ„¢ Leg and Skirt Kits are available in Red Oak and Poplar woods. These kits are ideally used as accent pieces around a fireplace opening.
Each Mantel Leg & Skirt kit comes with two side legs, plinth blocks, and one header piece. Two ledger boards for mounting the side legs are also included. Mantels are sold separately.
Classic mantels have just that – a clean but classic look – and are made from Poplar wood, perfect for staining or painting.
Colonial mantels are a type of traditional mantel and are made from Poplar wood or Red Oak, so they can be stained or painted easily.
Contemporary mantels have simple, clean, sides and lines. Made from Poplar wood, they can be painted or stained.
Rustic or Farmhouse mantels are made from stain-grade Alder, and include imperfections like high-contrast grain and knot holes.
Traditional mantels have timeless appeal and work well with most styles of interior decor. They are available in either poplar or red oak.
